Ashley Ward manufactured a series of tiller drive shaft parts to be used within a garden tiller application. Using our advanced turning operations, we produced 20,000 drive shafts for the lawn and garden industry, successfully meeting all client specifications. We also performed spline rolling to form the cylindrical body of each component.

Upholding a precision tolerance of (±) .001 of an inch, we manufactured each tiller driveshaft to measure precisely 1.25 inches in outer diameter. Constructed from 1045 steel material, we provided each unit with a smooth, 32 RMS finish. After ensuring that we met client expectations for design and quality, we then delivered all 20,000 units to our customer's facility in Ohio.
